About Michi
She has never painted something dark with intention.
She has a weird habit of keeping some parts of her emotions like a sadness,
confusion, fear, etc by her misinterpretation of the education that her parents
taught her for her when she was child.
So her body takes out those kind of emotions from me with paintings and drawings for maintaining her mental and physical in a good condition.
Also, in the grotesque, dirty, ugly art, she can see well the beauty...
THE REAL ART SHOULD NOT BE a sweet, beautiful, nice, pretty, neither cool with intention.
BUT IT SHOULD BE AN ALIVE AND A REAL EMOTION OF ARTIST even it would be so grotesque, ugly, dirty and dark etc.
HER ART IS A REACTION OF HER BODY.
Her paintings and drawings come from inside of her body.
Biography
Tomoyo Okumura "Michi" is from Osaka city Japan.
Since she was so young like 4 years old, began to paint and draw, Painting is an essential like sleeping, eating or laughing, since in a therapeutic way she helps him to calm down.
When she was young, she discovered that painting can help her. She felt more calm and freedom from stress of the problems that surrounded her surroundings. From this event his creations began to evolve.
Among the places she has exhibited include New York City, Mexico and her country Japan.
Michi currently lives in Irapuato Mexico.

Nunca ha pintado algo oscuro con intención.
Ella tiene un acostumbre raro de guardar unas partes de sus emociones
así como la tristeza, confusión, miedo etc por su mala interpretación de
educación que le dieron sus padres para ella cuando ella era niña.
Por lo tanto, su cuerpo las saca utilizando pintura y dibujo para mantenerme bien mentalmente y físicamente.
Aparte de eso, puede ver la belleza en el arte grotesco, feo y sucio etc.
El ARTE NO DEBE DE SER bonito, hermoso, agradable ni chido con la intensión.
SIN EMBARGO, DEBE DE SER VIVO Y UNA EMOCIÓN REAL DE ARTISTA aunque se quede demasiado grotesco, feo, sucio y oscuro etc.
SU ARTE ES UNA REACCIÓN DE SU CUERPO.
Sus pinturas y dibujos vienen de dentro de su cuerpo.
Biografía
Tomoyo Okumura “Michi” es originaria de la ciudad japonesa de Osaka.
Desde muy pequeña comenzó a pintar y dibujar, y desde entonces lo ha llevado a cabo, sostiene que para ella es igual de esencial que dormir, comer o reírse, ya que de una forma terapéutica le ayuda a tranquilizarse.
Cuando era joven, descubrió el gran poder que la pintura ejercía sobre ella, y como por medio de su ejecución se sentía más tranquila y liberada de estrés de los problemas que envolvían su entorno. A partir de este suceso sus creaciones comenzaron a evolucionar.
Entre los lugares en los que ha expuesto destacan la Ciudad de Nueva York, México y su natal Japón.
Michi actualmente radica en Irapuato México.
